M2 has 3 closed triangles and an anterior loop and lacks a posterior loop; m1 has 5 closed triangles rather than 4, but other molars match with Microtus oeconomus. Tail not longer than half of head and body (not Microtus longicaudus), no yellow patch on nose (not Microtus xanthognathus).
