Unsorted bulk microalgae sample collected as part of the NEON periphyton, seston, and phytoplankton collection protocols conducted three times annually. Archived in either 2% high-iodine Lugol's solution or 0.5% glutaraldehyde.

Original and qc taxonomists do not look at the same .1ml aliqout of subsample. Differences in taxonomy due to this subsamling variance. PDE value high due to differences in individuals counted. This count was a short count and did not reach the 300 individual mark. PSC value low due to the different aliqouts and lack of organisms and qc values for Heteroleibleinia spp.
